Whale & Dolphin Watching (Private Charter)
Take the whole boat for your own group: up to five of you, no strangers aboard, and the crew's full attention on the same east-coast whale grounds off Trincomalee. Built for a family or a group of friends who'd rather set their own pace and keep the deck to themselves.
Sri Lanka is one of the best places on earth to see blue whales, the largest animal that has ever lived. Off Mirissa the deep water comes close to shore, and blue whales and fin whales are the main sightings; off Nilaveli it's fin whales and big pods of spinner dolphins. Early start, open water, and dolphins riding the bow on many mornings. Sightings are never guaranteed by anyone honest, but the odds here are genuinely good, especially in peak months. You go out with an experienced local crew who know these waters.
