Yes. Resident green and olive ridley turtles feed on the reef just off our centre, and snorkeling with them is exactly what this trip is for. Wildlife is never guaranteed in the wild, but the turtles here are a near-daily sight.
From the shore, right by our dive centre — no boat and no deep water. That makes it one of the most relaxed ways to get in the sea, and it suits non-swimmers who are comfortable in a life jacket.
Alongside the turtles you'll typically see reef fish, and often octopus, moray eels, lionfish and a variety of coral. Whale sharks are occasionally spotted off the south coast.
Yes. Mask, fins and snorkel are included, along with refreshments afterwards. We bring a GoPro and capture photos and videos of you with the turtles at no extra cost.
The Mirissa season runs from 1 November to 10 April, when the south coast has calm seas and clear water. Outside those dates you can still pre-book for when the season opens.
Yes — we offer tuk tuk pick-up from hotels and guesthouses in Mirissa. It's free within 5 km of the dive centre, with a small fixed charge between 5 and 12 km. Please arrive 30 minutes before your trip.
