Your snorkeling tour runs 2 hours from your chosen start time.
Snorkeling is the no-barrier way into the water — no course, no tank, no experience. In Mirissa, we take you to the turtles that feed just off the centre; they’re reliably there, which is why the tagline isn’t a maybe. In Nilaveli, it’s about the coral: Angel Rock and Coral Island are clear-water reef gardens teeming with fish, reached by boat and (in the case of Coral Island) often yours alone. Non-swimmers are welcome — a life jacket and a guide who stays close make it safe.

Requirements
- Minimum age 6. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Non-swimmers can join if comfortable wearing a life jacket and following the guide.
- No medical questionnaire (not a scuba activity).

What to bring

- Towel
- Reef-safe (biodegradable) sunscreen — at Angel Rock and Coral Island you’re swimming over living coral, so the right sunscreen protects what you came to see
Meeting & pick-up
- Arrive 30 minutes before your start time — for registration, briefing and equipment fitting.
- Meet at the Diving Mirissa centre. Free tuk tuk pick-up within 5 km; $7 for 5–10 km; $10 for 10–12 km; no pick-up beyond 12 km.
- Your confirmation email carries the exact meeting point and time.
Who it’s for
For: Everyone — kids (6+), non-swimmers, divers on a day off.
