A morning on the water off Mirissa’s south coast. You leave at first light with a local captain and all the gear, and spend a few hours fishing the way it’s done here. Small boat, four people maximum, so it stays personal — and your catch is yours to keep if you want it.

Meeting & pick-up
- Please arrive by 05:45.
- Meet at the Diving Mirissa centre. Free tuk tuk pick-up within 5 km; $7 for 5–10 km; $10 for 10–12 km; no pick-up beyond 12 km.
- Your confirmation email carries the exact meeting point and time.
Who it’s for
For: Anyone who wants a calm, early morning on the water and a bit of fishing — beginners fine.
Not for: Not a guaranteed-catch charter, and Mirissa only (no fishing at Nilaveli).
